This Maine based organization is dedicated to addressing climate change & lowering heat costs 1 window at a time.
I've volunteered with them the past few years & along with a statewide network of volunteers we make window insert that are reusable & last for years.
Pop them in a window & your home is instantly warmer, literally instantly warmer.
We have 28 of the inserts in our home & the difference is tangible & we save money on heating costs.
I also appreciate that the volunteer stints are usually 4 hours long & even doing 1 session a winter makes a big difference.
