Any fans of the former breakfast/lunch bakery Ten Ten Pie' on Cumberland Ave in Portland?
Out of all the amazing places to eat in Portland, this truly was my favorite.
The baker/owner Atsuko has the amazing skill and artistry to weave together Japanese and French baking traditions to create food that feeds the soul & inspires me to want to be a better baker.
When she closed, her fan club remained hopeful that she would find a way to continue to share her gifts with the world.
I know, that's a lot of strong praise, I could write a haiku, and I'll spare you.
