Our woods are a place of beauty, magic, wildlife and a source of epic tales of lumberjacks.
Often the question is asked; why are we shipping in lumber from around the globe when we could do it more sustainably here?

My boost today is for a new lumberyard opening up in Cape Elizabeth focusing on being part of the solution, a wood store with a conscious.
The Lumbery is in the process of opening mid-summer, to provide a way forward for more sustainable building.
