DAY 47: Space Gallery May 31st

On Sunday's, my focus has been on community volunteer opportunities & being the change you want to see in the world.
SPACE Gallery in Portland, has consistently been my favorite arts venue and today they are bringing awareness to a
Chalk the Walk event with Wee the People.
The murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor are part of the painful realities of life for black and brown people in this country.
Today, Wee the People, are offering up to the community to write messages in chalk on sidewalks in support for black and brown lives. Messages in support of a country healing from a painful legacy of racism, in support of being the change.
