The natural beauty & wildness of Maine has been a compelling subject for visual artists, poets, writers, singers and dancers.
Artists of all media coax us, invite us & often provoke us to look at the world differently, to see everything from the day to day to the deeply profound thru a new point of view.

My boost for today is for Indigo Arts Alliance based in Portland.
Indigo Arts Alliance opened in 2018 with the mission of supporting and promoting artists of African decent. They do this thru their artist in residence program, public events and these days, online.
