DAY 6: The Knitting Nook April 20th
One of the upsides of sheltering in place is that people have reconnected with simple pleasures of baking, gardening & crafting.
Finding the time and head/heart space to pick up a ball of yarn and needles to create feels like a gift.
My business boost today is for a lovely gem of a yarn store and art cafe tucked away in Ferry Village in SoPo.
The Knitting Nook, the owner Lisa has created a welcoming home for knitters & fiber artists whether you are just learning or have been knitting for decades.
The cafe offers a nice variety of food and her tuna sandwiches are the best around.
Even if you don't knit, when she re-opens, stop by for Sunday brunch & enjoy the welcoming vibes.
For Pee Wee Herman fans...the bathroom is, I never knew Pee Wee was a knitter.
