Day 87: Boda Thai and The Green Elephant: July 10th
Back in my 20's, I took my 1st solo trip for 7 weeks to Thailand and Malaysia.
It was before cell phones & internet and when The Lonely Planet was "The" guidebook to have.
The beauty of these countries, the people I met and the food are memories embossed on my heart.
The street food & evening food markets were an exciting blend of scent, sounds & tastes.

My boost for today is for sister restaurants in Portland.
One serving up Thai street food & the other best vegan/vegetarian food around.
Boda and Green Elephant Vegetarian Bistro.

The 1st time I stepped into Boda; the scents & tastes brought me back to the streets of Bangkok.
I love that part of their pivot has been bottling their cocktails as their Thai Basil Tom Collins is delicious!

The Green Elephant; reminds me of the food stalls in Malaysia; offering up amazing foods from the melting pot of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine.
