You know that expression; an instant classic?
Which ever genius created pizza; no doubt it was an instant classic.
Remember, back in the day when you couldn't buy just a slice?
Having lived in NYC & Boston and a few other places where buying a slice was a quick & inexpensive meal.
In Maine, there's usually gas station pizza by the slice, but for Portland, that wasn't an option until 2009.
My boost for today is for the game-changer of Otto Pizza based in Portland Maine.

Game changing, because you can buy a slice or two & also for their pizza with mashed potatoes with bacon!
I love that they have the classics along with some more gourmet approaches to pizza.
I appreciate that they offer up eating pizza as a fundraising event.
